Closed Suction Catheter
A closed suction catheter is a single-use sterile medical device that removes lung secretions while maintaining ventilation and minimizing contamination. It is an essential component of modern respiratory care and offers significant benefits in terms of infection control, patient safety, and overall efficiency of airway management.
It is available for 24 or 72-hour use depending on the patient’s requirements. It is available in two lengths, either connected with the tracheal tube (600 mm) or tracheostomy tube (300 mm).
